Harold and Lenore are Sailing The Lake

Hi everyone from Harold and Lenore Barmby at Turtle Lake, Saskatchewan Canada.

We have lived in northern Saskatchewan since 1996.  We love country living and spend most of our time visiting, gardening, volunteering, bird watching, fishing, sailing and of course dancing.  Our square dance club doesn’t resume dancing until fall, so that leaves us a little rusty when we go back.  We miss round dancing as our club only square dances, so we look forward to Steve and Patty’s lessons when we get back to to Yuma.

We attended a 50th anniversary dinner and square dance for a couple from North Battleford who also have danced in Yuma, Verlin and Loretta Skow.  Vic and Barb Muirhead were masters of ceremonies and did a bang up job.

Fall is fast approaching.  We are both attending retreats in September, Harold to a remote lake to fish and Lenore to Edmonton, Alberta for a girls week-end.  We will spend thanksgiving with family in Calgary and before you know it Christmas is here and we will be off to Yuma.

We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor. Our sailboat is pictured below. We have had some great sailing weather this year.  All the best to everyone.

Sincerely,  Harold and Lenore BarmbyBarmby's Sailboat
