Kathy and Gordon Shoard Are Enjoying the Summer

Greetings:

The summer has gone by quickly for us and we are looking forward to the south already.

Saskatoon held the International Square Dance Festival in June. Roy and Gerri Kuehn from Calgary came up and stayed with us.It was great to have them. There were lots of dancers from Alberta, some that we knew from Yuma and one couple came from Phoenix with their 5th wheel. Other than that square dancing has been slow for us.

We are hoping to go square dancing on Sept.5th with Jerry in Edmonton. We are there for a family wedding.

Our lake cabin at Whiteswan is our summer haven. We spend as much time there as possible. It’s in a game preserve area so there’s lots of animals and birds.A moose walked by our cabin in July.

All our family were here to celebrate Gordon’s birthday. Family came from Ottawa and Calgary but two grandsons didn’t make it. It was great fun for us.

We are off to the "Canada Remembers Air Show", the last one in Saskatoon. Keep well. With caring thoughts,
